Rylies Kinder Concert

video

She got a bit shy when she started since she was first up for the night standing up there on her own... but once the other piggies were called up she got into the swing of it! She kept smiling at Dirk and myself while she was singing, I thought she was so stinkin cute!

Rylie has had a great year at kinder. Her teachers have been fantastic and she has made so many friends whom she is starting school with Feb 2010!

It is kinda sad that tomorrow will be her last day of Kinder forever!
But she is SO looking forward to school and I am happy for that!

I love my little girl, she will always be my baby no matter how old she is!
She such a kind and sweet thing, carrying her baby sister away from things she is not meant to be touching, holding Indi's hair up while she brushes her teeth, just some little things I have noticed this week that reminds me she is growing up into a lovely little girl!

Mormon Master Chef 2009

Yarra Valley RS Mormon Master Chef Activity
Oct 2009
To start the night we had a Taste Test.
It was Minestrone Soup and the 3 top ladies to guess the most ingredients in ths soup where our CHEF'S for the night... They were each given an envelope and inside revealed who had the Entre, Main Dish & Dessert!
From left to right - Melissa R, Kerryn N and Delia F
They had NO IDEA what they would be cooking!
They all picked an "apprentice" to help them from the audience!
Melissa chose Kylie B ... and they had Entre's!
"Pork Spring Rolls with a side of sauces"
Kerryn picked Kate and they had the Main Dish
"Gourme Spicey Meat Balls & Pasta"
And Delia chose her sister Vanessa who were cooking up
"Lime Cheese Cakes"
They had 30 min to complete their dish and after the time was up we brought in our
SURPRISE GUEST JUDGES...
who just happen to be our Bishopric!
So after trying each of the dishes they scored them on "Time, Taste and Presentation" !!!
Some people thought it was bias since one of the chefs was the Bishops daughter lol
And the WINNERS are...
DELIA and her sister Vanessa with their Lime Cheese Cakes !!!!
Well done Girls!
(No double chins in this photo hahaha)

The night was AWESOME! Everyone had a fantastic time!
I had woman tell me it was the best Enrichment activity they had ever been to!
That made me feel great!!
{This activity was held in OCT 2009}
Thank you Missionary Sisters for the Photo's!

It's Beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

We love Christmas and everything that goes with it!

This will be her first Christmas ...

One of my favorite baubles...

and some NEW baubles I bought from my FAVORITE store "Morris Brown" here in Healesville!!

Your typical shabby chick/country store where things are probably a little too expensive but I couldn't help myself!

They are quite heavy and If I have had more pennies in my purse that day I would have bought more lol Oh that's right, I lay-buyed some along with some little white doves with silver tin wings! EXCITING !!!

Yarra Valley RS Christmas Party

"Christmas In The Garden - A Season For Gratitude"

Yesterday we had our RS Christmas Party in a members garden.
It was such a lovely day...

I am Enrichment Leader (or what ever they are calling it now!)
These are just a few pics from the day...

I made all the table decorations... I used spaghetti cans filled with sand and rocks then covered with pink, orange & white tissue paper, I spray painted twigs silver, hung gold and silver mini baubles and cut out pink and orange butterfly to keep in line with our garden theme!

I'm pretty happy how they turned out!
All the woman LOVED it! It made for such a great atmosphere...

I do beleive I went home a few less table decorations than I arrived with lol

These here were little gifts I made for each sister!
Their very own
"Christmas Survival Kit"

Simple Brown Paper Bags, Mini butterflys, RS stamp by Sunbeam Stamps and all the goodies that were required for inside the pack!

And of course we had to have the most gorgeous Gingerbread men who were made by Christine H, Erica F and Christine L!

I made all the tags and got them all ready for the big day!
I used the Stampin up Stamp "A Yummy for your Tummy"

We had 3 segments on the day, gardening, Cooking & gift Wrapping!
I did the gift wrapping one and here are some gift bows I demonstrated how to make!
They really are EASY!

After that, we played a game of "Siamese Gift Wrapping"
just to see if they were listening lol

It was Soooo funny! Each pair had to have an arm around each other and only use ONE hand each to wrap a gift! In the end it was DELIA (as usual! furthest on the right) who won with her mum ! What a team lol
Tying a bow and using sticky tape never looked so hilarious!

We (Melissa R, Lucy F, Stephani F & myself) performed "O Holy Night" which I think didn't sound too bad! Thank you Lucy and Steph for playing the guitar & clarinet and Melissa for singing with me and all your visits to my house helping me with endless tasks to organise for this day!

All in all we all had a fantastic day!
The Roast Beef lunch was DELICIOUS! as was the punch and desserts! Thank you to those who came and participated it makes doing my calling so much more rewarding!

Nothin but a Slack Butt ...

It's been foreverrrrrrr ... I'm so slack! I take photos to stick on here (cause I use my blog as a reminder of what to scrapbook next in order)
All the photos are there but you think I can find a second to sit down!??

But don't worry I know you have all been worried out of your brains, frantic, a little scared that I have broken down some where with no GPS !! It's ok I feel your love ... HAAA

I'll be back soon enough and you can stalk me all you like ... and don't think you don't stalk cause you wouldn't be reading this if you didn't! See I told you ... you're just checking up on me, seeing what's the goss, who's died and who had a tummy tuck ... well ya know what....

There's no goss, and no one has died this week and as for a tummy tuck, I'll pop that down on my "Things I'll wish for, but probably won't get in this life time" list!!!
